Description:
This slender snake has distinctive white bands along a black body. It has a rounded snout and a short blunt tail.
 
Size:
Adults 50 - 80 cm
 
Behaviour:
A nocturnal, burrowing snake.
 
Prey:
Eats only blind snakes.
 
Reproduction:
Females lay up to 13 eggs in a clutch.
